Acts Bible Mystery Report

The prophet Isaiah was gifted with an amazing anointing enabling him to see key events in the distant future. 700 years before the cross Isaiah described the suffering the Lord Jesus would endure on our behalf.
Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah looked hundreds of years into the future to see the suffering of our Lord. He also looked thousands of years into the future to see the return of the King of Kings.
Isaiah 30:27 Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
Amazingly, Isaiah details in a prior verse the key event to signal the impending return of Jesus Christ. Isaiah called that event precisely “the day of the great slaughter when the towers fall,” in Isaiah 30:25.
9/11/01 was a day of great slaughter when towers fell. The entire world was shocked by this dramatic event prophetically occurring in the first year of this decade, in the first decade of this century, and the first century of this millennium.
The following passages also describe the fall of a towering city, a center of world trade, followed closely by resurrection, rapture, and tribulation on the earth.
Isaiah 26:5
For he bringeth down them that dwell on high: the lofty city, he layeth it low; even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
Later in the same chapter…
Isaiah 26:19-21
Thy dead men shall live together with my dead body, shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee; hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Isaiah 23:3…she is a mart of nations.
Isaiah 23:8-9
Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are princes, whose traffickers, are the honourable of the earth? The Lord of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth.
The crowning city is the tallest on earth. Traffickers of the earth are world traders.
Isaiah 23:11
He stretched out his hand over the sea, he shook the kingdoms: the Lord hath given a commandment against the merchant city, to destroy…
Ezekiel 27:34-35
…thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall. All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid.
Acts 2:19-20 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
What is the solution to the mystery of blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke which occurs before that great and notable day of the Lord comes? 9-11-01 the day of the great slaughter when the towers fell was a sign on the earth of blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke, Isaiah’s sign that the coming of the Lord is soon.
The destruction of the World Trade Center was the act of demonized terrorists. But from a prophetic perspective, the fall of the World Trade Center was more than merely a sign of the impending tribulation period foretold by Isaiah. On 9-11-01 demonic spirits acting through demonized men had free reign to bring destruction to the World Trade Center. The fall of the World Trade Center was a foretaste of the tribulation period itself when demonic spirits will be given free rein not just at ground zero but over the entire earth.
As watchmen on the wall proclaiming the salvation of the Lord Jesus, it is time for us to allow the Holy Spirit to move on our hearts and to invigorate our efforts of evangelism while precious time remains.
