The New Testament Model

Worship: True unity among the people of God, as desired by Jesus in his prayer in John 17, must be manifested in worship. If we worship together, we can work together.

Stewardship: There is more than money involved. There is life, all of life, to be considered as we take our role seriously as caretakers of God's gifts to us.

Education: Wisdom is a gift and sometimes we receive knowledge directly from the Holy Spirit. Neither of these releases us from the mandate to "go forth and teach."

Christian Social Concerns: The more we worship, practice good stewardship, and learn, the more we become aware of the basic human needs and basic human rights.

Evangelism: Telling the good news that Jesus came into the world with a message and a mission is our primary duty once we have been discipled (taught).

Missions: The world is bigger than our backyard. We must make the effort to envelope the entire world with the same good news which is carried by the evangelist.
