The requirements for becoming an ASSOCIATE IN MINISTRY (AIM) or a MINISTRY IN AFFILIATION (MIN) with Acts Ministry are listed below. The applicant (and the ministry making application) is reminded that Acts Ministry is transdenominational. The mission statement describes our basic purpose, and that is "Unity In Christ, Through The Holy Spirit." Any person or ministry wanting to be listed as an AFFILIATE or ASSOCIATE is expected to maintain a connection with Acts Ministry and be accountable to Acts Ministry. Connection is determined by the AFFILIATES/ASSOCIATES attending events sponsored by Acts Ministry, communicating regularly with the international office, and generally promoting unity in the Body of Christ. Accountability includes (but is not limited to) quarterly financial reports to the international office, the maintenance of a "ministry profile" that honors Christ, and doctrinal statements true to the basic tenets of the historic Christian faith. Reporting periods are quarterly, beginning January 1 of the calendar year. Any person or ministry seeking to become an AFFILIATE or an ASSOCIATE must make formal application to the Acts Ministry Executive Board. The applicant will be notified in writing as to the decision of the board. If the applicant is accepted, the ministry will receive a certificate to be framed and displayed in the church, office, or headquarters. Failure to comply with any of the requirements concerning connection or accountability can result in the revocation of the ministry's (or person's) AFFILIATION or ASSOCIATION with Acts Ministry by the executive board. The record of such will be in the files of the international office. |
